Get Help
We're here for you. Here's everything you need to know about receiving food assistance.
Who Can Access the Food Bank?
Anyone in Hastings (Trent Hills) and the surrounding area who needs food assistance is welcome. We serve individuals and families with dignity and respect.
Your First Visit
When you visit us for the first time, please bring photo identification. We will ask you to fill out a short consent form and assign you a client number for future visits.
We operate on a shopping model, so you can choose your hamper contents from what we have available. Our intake process is simple: a volunteer will walk you through the pantry items, produce table, and extras table so you can select what works best for your household.
If you need to change the week you normally visit, please call ahead and let us know.
