We are a group of dedicated volunteers who work together to serve the clients who come to our door for help. Most of us work shifts in pairs along with the Client Coordinator when the food bank has open hours. Others do essential work behind the scenes with the Provisions Coordinator for shopping and running to Cobourg to pick up from the Food4All warehouse. We all help out for special events and especially before Christmas for the hamper program.

We are often on the lookout for new volunteers. We appreciate a sense of commitment to helping others and to the community and to helping one another in a spirit of cooperation. Bring your able body but a ready smile and a sense of warm-hearted helpfulness are essential and even more important. Be open, non-judgmental and welcoming. You will also be asked to sign a formal confidentiality agreement since we honour the privacy of the clients we serve.
